Make sure that you have at least two alcohol free days a week, to give your body a break. Eat a healthy balanced diet, take plenty of exercise and keep yourself busy and sociable. And watch those home measures.

 

Check the label and choose lower strength abv % drinks
Pour smaller measrues at home - try using a smaller glass
Eat a meal before drinking or while socialising
Plan at least two alcohol free days every week
Fill in your drink diary to help keep a check on how much
you are drinking
Finally, talk to someone you trust if you feel that you are
drinking as a tonic or "pick-me-up"
