An easy way keep check on your drinking habits is to keep a ‘drink diary’ for a week. Using the unit guide to help you, you can keep track of how many units of alcohol you drink each day, including any tonic wines or spirits added to hot drinks. It may help you to decide if it’s time to cut down.
